Can you kindly provide us with some links to the main concepts to be explored in the July ELC-Manchester uni. workshop!
I somehow believe that effective workshops should start on a cyberhall before the actual F2F discussions and the cyberdiscussions should carry on after the F2F meeting. Do you agree?
This approach is especially useful in setting up team work.

I am hoping to join your workshop to be held in July in cooperation with the Saudi elearning centre here at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What are the main chracterstics of a "real" learning object. How best to integrate an application program in a learning object. How far the concept of learning objects are reached now. Is there any learning objects that gets explorers involved in exploring a mathematical proof.

Thank you for your postings Dr Hamed. I am looking forward to you joining our workshop in July-August at Manchester. You will be receiving all learning materials before the workshop starts and you will also be invited to join a virtual space before the workshop starts (which will remain open after the commencement of the workshop).

Best wishes.

I am interested in building mathematical learning objects. I believe in the LOGO philosophy i.e using turtles as objects to think with. Toontalk gave us the robot as an object to think with. These seems to give us a starting point to build our cyberclasses that are populated with learning object based on the turtles & robots (eslave). The learning environment should provide explorers to learn through building eslaves.

Hi George,
I'm Cat. I teach elementary school and my Masters is in Instructional Technology. I like what you are doing here. I am working on building a teacher blog and when I get there, would love to put you on my blogroll. I'm also teaching classes to other teachers this school year and will give this blog as a resource for them to link to. Thanks for this place!
