I somehow believe that effective workshops should start on a cyberhall before the actual F2F discussions and the cyberdiscussions should carry on after the F2F meeting. Do you agree? What are the main chracterstics of a "real" learning object. How best to integrate an application program in a learning object. How far the concept of learning objects are reached now. Is there any learning objects that gets explorers involved in exploring a mathematical proof. I am hoping to join your workshop to be held in July in cooperation with the Saudi elearning centre here at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I believe in the LOGO philosophy i.e using turtles as objects to think with. Toontalk gave us the robot as an object to think with. These seems to give us a starting point to build our cyberclasses that are populated with learning object based on the turtles & robots (eslave). The learning environment should provide explorers to learn through building eslaves. I am interested in building mathematical learning objects.
